Why I Started GÜNTHER
I didn't start GÜNTHER because I wanted to own a watch company.
I started it because I couldn't stop noticing the details.
Expensive watches had bracelets that rattled. Crowns that felt cheap. Bezels that didn't inspire confidence.
As an engineer, I couldn't stop asking why.
That curiosity became late nights, watch tools scattered across my workbench, and eventually the beginning of GÜNTHER.

Why GÜNTHER?
GÜNTHER takes its name from my family surname, a name with old Germanic roots tied to ideas of battle, strength, and warrior tradition. After my family immigrated to the United States in the 1800s, the spelling changed over time. I chose the traditional GÜNTHER spelling as a connection to that history—not as a claim of German manufacturing. GÜNTHER Watches was founded and is designed in Arizona.
Why the Tower Logo?
When choosing a symbol for the brand, I wanted something that reflected that heritage without defining GÜNTHER by it. The tower became that symbol: a place of strength and protection, built to endure and visible from a distance. But the tower represents more than where the name came from. “One Tower. Many Stories.” is about where the watches go from here. Every GÜNTHER may carry the same tower, but the life lived while wearing it belongs entirely to its owner. Workdays and weekends, milestones and ordinary days, adventures across the world or moments close to home—people from every walk of life create their own stories. My goal is to build watches worthy of being there for them.
